The script called for some debris to be washed up along with Gloria, and later on we'd need a makeshift shelter for Richard on a barren rock, so there's a panel from the ship. The cruiseline logo would link back to the travel agency Richard sees in a flashback scene. I wanted to create a logo which a Pacific line might use, but with vaguely shark-like elements to give it a touch of sinister.
